1. (U) On May 13, the Embassy received a diplomatic note
supporting U.S. candidate Melvin Levitsky's re-election to
the International Narcotic Control Board elections.
2. (U) Begin diplomatic note:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents its compliments to
the Embassy of the United States of America in Abu Dhabi and
with reference to the embassy note number 254 dated March 27,
2006 the Ministry has the honor to inform the Embassy, as
support for the cooperation between our two countries, the
UAE supports the re-election of the U.S. candidate Melvin
Levitsky to the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB).
The elections will be held during the Economic and Social
Council meetings in New York in May 2006.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs avails itself of this
opportunity to renew the assurances of its highest
