On September 23, 2005, POLOFF discussed the talking points of
the demarche with Mauricio Ruiz of the MFA. Ruiz commented
that the Director of Multilateral Affairs was currently at
the UN meeting in New York, and that they could not prepare a
response before his return next week. POLOFF will contact
Multilateral Affairs Director Mario Rivera next week for
further information.
