1. (S/NF) On 11/01/05, EAC met to discuss threat information
contained in RefTel. Members in attendance were AMB, DCM,
MO, RSO, POLM, OMC, DAO, POLE, PD, CONS, LEGATT, AID, FPD and
CCE.

2.(S/NF) EAC discussed threat information received by SIMO of
possible terrorist attacks in Aden during the Eid-al-Fitr
holiday. The information was discussed by the EAC who agreed
that a Warden message was appropriate due to the nature of
the threat. EAC agreed that the message should advise
American citizens to exercise caution during the Eid
holidays, especially those Americans in the Aden area, who
should use caution in large crowded areas and places
frequented by Westerners.

3. (S/NF) RSO and other Embassy liaison offices agreed to
monitor the situation and reconvene the EAC if any further
information is obtained.
