(C) Czech MFA Director General Helena Bambasova told DCM and
Pol Couns Feb 14 that the Czech Republic supports EU
designation of Hizballah as a terrorist organization. We
encouraged Bambasova to play an active role in lobbying other
EU members in advance of the Feb 16 EU Clearinghouse meeting.
Bambasova said they were consulting within the EU, but did
not provide additional details.
