1) (S) Pol-Mil Off Aug 31 delivered reftel demarche on
isolating Syria at UNGA to Miroslav Stasek, Czech MFA
Director for the Middle East and Africa. PM Paroubek and FM
Svoboda will both be in NY for the Summit and UNGA this year.
Stasek, commenting on Czech interests as a Coalition member,
gave guarantees that neither the PM nor the FM would meet
with the Syrians.
