1. Poloff delivered reftel points July 15, together with
draft UNGA, UNSC, and ECOSOC resolutions, to MFA IO UN Reform
action officer Nicolas Kassianides.


2. Kassianides thanked us for the information and said that
the French translations would be particularly helpful. We
undertook to share the points in French as soon they were
available. In turn Kassianides said that the points would be
shared with MFA IO Director Ripert and other concerned GoF
officials. NOTE: As reported ref B, GoF officials have
expressed support for establishment of the Peacebuilding
Commission, to be controlled by the UNSC. END NOTE.
