1. (U) Foreign Affairs Canada (FAC) notified post
transportation officer on November 23 that Canada will
support the U.S. candidacy for re-election to Category A of
the IMO Council.


2. (U) FAC indicated that Canada would similarly appreciate
U.S. support for Canada's candidacy. Note: Canada is a
member of Category B of the Council. End note.
