(C) Ambassador on January 17 informed Minister of State for
Foreign Affairs Mohammed Abdel Ghaffar that the two
additional Bahraini citizens listed in reftel had been
reviewed by the Combatant Status Review Tribunal and been
determined to meet the criteria for designation as enemy
combatants. Abdel Ghaffar expressed disappointment, noting
that Foreign Minister Shaikh Mohammed had received a
parliamentary delegation the day before asking about the
status of Bahrain's six detainees.
