(SBU) Polcouns delivered the demarche on Opposing
Anti-Israel Bias at the UN (Reftel) to the Foreign Ministry's
Director of Multilateral Affairs, Julio Garro, and Director
of UN Affairs, Miguel Barreto, on 10/24. Garro said Peru has
abstained on the three resolutions in question the past two
years, and that he expects Peru will continue to do so when
these resolutions are brought to a vote during the current
UNGA session.
