Per Reftel request, Post provides the following information:

a) Post's TFCO is Tim Stater, Economic Counselor (tel. 51-1-
618-2410; statertm@state.gov).

b) Post's Deputy TFCO is Samantha Carl-Yoder, Economic
Officer (tel. 51-1-618-2411; yodersc@state.gov). Neither
the TFCO nor Deputy TFCO have received any FSI training on
combating terrorist finance.

c) Post believes that a regional meeting among Andean and
Southern cone TFCOs would improve our counterterrorist
finance coordination and enable us to meet with the
appropriate State and Treasury officers.

d) From a public diplomacy perspective, Post needs to
continue to promote an awareness of terrorist financing and
the dangers it imposes to society. Speakers on Terrorist
Finance issues would allow Post to target specific audiences
and further emphasize the importance of terrorist finance
efforts.

e) Post appreciates the Department's support for its
counterterrorist financing efforts. Post welcomes any
information the Department can provide about relevant
regional counterterrorist financing efforts and available
training opportunities.
