1.(S) Poloff delivered the Statement of Case and
talking points on the Buisir prenotification to Mr.
Vitalis Njiku, Head of the Foreign Ministry's new UN
Security Council Office, on April 6. Mr. Njiku asked
if the US had any information regarding Ibrahim
Buisir's activities or investments in Tanzania.
Poloff said that we had no direct information that Mr.
Buisir had any investments in Tanzania, but that it
was possible. Mr. Njiku said that he would inform the
US embassy of any Tanzanian consultations or actions
regarding Ibrahim Buisir.
