1. Hesham Afifi of the Foreign Ministry's cabinet staff told
poloff July 3 that Prime Minister Nazif would represent the
GOE at the July 9 installation of the Government of National
Unity. According to Afifi, PM Nazif is scheduled to be in
Khartoum from 7-10 July.


2. Arab League Secretary General Amre Moussa told Senior USG
Representative for Sudan Charles Snyder June 30 that he would
attend the July 9 ceremony.
