01/2005. The Ministerio de Salud Publica y
Bienestar Social (MSPBS) is the government Dept. of
Public Health and Social Welfare. Tender is to be
financed with funds from the IDB--Interamerican
Development Bank loan No. 1006/OC-PR. Foreign
bidders must be from IDB member countries, and must
participate only through their duly registered local
agents or representatives. Specifications cost
Guaranies 250,000, previously deposited in account
No. 490/Otros Recursos, at the Banco Central del
Paraguay, and can be viewed at the web sites
http://www.contratacionesparaguay.gov.py and
http://www.mspbs.gov.py/uoc/contratacion.php. The
present free floating exchange rate is approx.
Guaranies 6,230 per U.S. Dollar. Interested parties
must purchase specs from the MSPBS address only,
thru a note on company letterhead, with full
information on the firm and its local legal agent/
representative, plus copy of the bank deposit slip.
