Internacional No. 8/2004. COPACO--Cia. Paraguaya de
Comunicaciones is the government telecommunications
utility. Tender will be financed with COPACO's own
funds. Tender calls for a turnkey project bid for
all the goods and services, including supply,
assembly, installation, and startup of the following
systems: (a) Multiservice Data Network -IP/MPLS, (b)
Last Mile Network Access x DSL, and (c) SDH-STM16
Network - Next Generation. Foreign bidders must
participate only, repeat only through their duly
registered local agents or representatives.
Specifications cost Guaranies 1,000,000, previously
deposited in the Banco Nacional de Fomento current
account No. 818783/2, and can be viewed at the
website http://www.contratacionesparaguay.gov.py, ID

27979. The present free floating exchange rate is
approximately Guaranies 6,020 per U.S. Dollar.
Interested parties must purchase specifications from
the COPACO address only.
