INFLUENZA - SENIOR OFFICIALS MEETING PARTICIPATION

In response to Post's transmission to GOT MFA of reftel
information on the International Partnership on Avian and
Pandemic Influenza Core Principles and Senior Official
Meeting on October 6-7, MFA informed EconOff that GOT
Ministry of Health General Health Services Department Deputy
Director General Fehmi Aydinli and a representative from the
Turkish Embassy in Washington will attend the meetings. MFA
told EconOff that the GOT agreed with the Core Principles,
but had not yet received a formal response from the Ministry
of Health.
