(C) MFA Head of Department H. Avni Botsali informed PolMilOff
June 13 that the Turkish ambassador in Baghdad has made a
formal request of the Iraqi foreign ministry's legal
department for extradition of two Turkish nationals currently
detained by MNF-I (see reftels). The Turkish ambassador will
make the same approach to the Iraqi Chief Justice "in the
coming days," Botsali reported.
