(U) The Jordanian Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced
October 12 that the Iraqi side of the Jordan-Iraq border
crossing at Karama/Trebil will close until October 16 to
travelers. Cargo trucks will be allowed to cross. PSD
informs post that special efforts will be made to ensure the
routine passage of trucks supporting Coalition operations in
Iraq. Comment: Post expects that border crossing operations
will resume the morning of October 16. End Comment.
