1. Acting DCM chaired post's monthly Visas Viper Committee
meeting on August 30th. Post identified the men suspected
of carrying out the attack on the USS Kearsarge in Aqaba on
19 August 2005 (reftel) as candidates for submission.


2. The Office of the Legal Attache provided the following
biographical information for submission to Visa Viper and
for the No Fly List for those directly involved in the
attack:

-AL SAHLI, Muhammad Hasan Abdallah, Syrian national, born in

1953. Muhammad AL SAHLI is currently detained by Jordanian
authorities for his role in the attack.

- AL SAHLI, Abdallah Muhammad Muhsin Hasan, Syrian national,
born in 1983 (a.k.a., HUSAYN SA'D Muhammad on a forged Iraqi
passport),he is the son of Muhammad AL SAHLI. Abdallah AL
SAHLI escaped Jordan to Iraq on his forged passport after
the attack.

- AL SAHLI, Abd AlRahman Muhammad Hasan, Syrian national,
born in 1985 (a.k.a., HUSAYN, Dawud Muhammad on a forged
Iraqi passport),he is the son of Muhammad AL SAHLI. Abd
AlRahman AL SALHI escaped Jordan to Iraq on his forged
passport after the attack.

- AL SAMORAI, Amar Ghazi Hussien, Iraqi national, born in
1971 (a.k.a., HASSAN, Muhammad Hamid and Abu Al Mukhtar).
Applicant is also described as having vitiligo (infection
inflicting white patches on the skin) on both hands and a
burn mark on his left arm. Amar AL SAMORAI was involved in
the attack.


3. LEGATT also provided the following known associates of
the attackers. There are no known roles for the following
individuals in this attack and post is providing the
following biographic details for information only at this
time:

- AL SAHLI, Bilal Muhammad Hasam, Syrian national, he is the
son of Muhammad AL SAHLI. The role of Bilal AL SAHLI in the
attack is not yet clear.

- AL DULAYMI, Abdal Hamid Mukhlif. No nationality or date
of birth are known.

- AL DULAYMI, Abdal Halim Hamid Mukhlif (a.k.a., Abu Al
Bar'a). No nationality or date of birth are known.

- DAHBUSH, Muhammad Ibrahim, Iraqi national, approximately
35 years old.
