The Italian Embassy in Amman notified poloff that a group of
3 Jordanians, led by the director of training for the
Jordanian Public Security Directorate (PSD),departed for
Vicenza, Italy at the end of June on a GOJ-funded visit to
the International Center of Excellence for Stability Police
Units (COESPU). The group planned to discuss proposed
training with the COESPU director, in addition to
coordinating the payment of per diem and travel expenses for
trainees with the government of Italy. Post will provide a
further update once it has received information on the
results of the visit.
