1. (U) PolCouns January 29 covered ref points on the USG
approach to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) case on
the Israeli security barrier with Ali al-Ayed, FonMin Marwan
Muasher's Private Office Director. Ayed said that the GOJ
appreciates the updates on the USG's thinking on the ICJ
case, and that the GOJ will be happy to discuss the case and
Jordan's submission with us as the case moves forward.
