Polchief delivered reftel points to Ambassador Ahmed
Al-Muqarrab, MFA Director of the European, American,
and Oceanic Department, on March 27. Al-Muqarrab said
the UAEG is watching developments in Libya with great
interest and said the U.S. decision to no longer
object to other countries' non-lethal exports of
military equipment to Libya (with the conditions
stated in reftel) was another positive step.
