PolChief discussed reftel demarche with MFA Under
Secretary's Office Director Marwan Al Sha'ali on September
SIPDIS
29 urging support for the U.S. draft resolution. Al
Sha'ali stated that reftel points provided to the MFA as a
nonpaper would be transmitted to the UAE Mission in New
York that has been following the First Committee reform
issue closely. PolChief will be following up with MFA next
week.
