Colombo Plan: Drug Advisory Program proposed projects
and funding for FY 2003
1. The Colombo Plan's Drug Advisory Program (DAP)
submitted to Mission a budget proposal of USD 420,000
for fiscal year 2003. DAP's proposed budget includes
funding for the following projects:
A. V Global Conference on Drug Abuse Prevention,
USD 70,000
B. Second Asian Youth Network program, USD 80,000
C. Training of Trainers' Workshops on Enhancing Life
Skills in Drug Demand Reduction, USD 50,000
D. Managing Treatment and Rehabilitation Programs,
USD 50,000
E. Twentieth IFNGO Conference, USD 75,000
F. Development of Handbook for Asian Ex-Addict and
Family Support Groups Training, USD 55,000
G. Demand Reduction Programs for South Asia, USD 22,000
H. Small Scale/Cost Sharing Projects on Demand
Reduction, USD 18,000
2. Mission forwarded, via unclassified pouch (registry
number 8026423),the proposal packet to INL/C/CJ.
