1. (S) On December 1, PolCouns and PolOff delivered message
in reftel regarding a possible forthcoming Hizballah resupply
flight to Ali Ayad, personal assistant to Foreign Minister
Marwan Muasher. PolCouns urged Jordan to inform the USG if
it receives such an overflight request, and to deny the
request. Ayad said he understood that we consider this to be
a priority issue, and will convey our concern to appropriate
GOJ officials.
