1. (U) As per REFTEL, we informed Civil Aviation Authority
Director General Hanna Najjar and National carrier Royal
Jordanian Airlines officials about FAA regulations calling
for accelerated implementation of reinforced cockpit door
installation requirements. RJ Head of Airport Services
Mu'ath Majali told us the airline would have no problem
meeting the new deadline.
