1. (C) PolMilOff November 28 spoke to Stella Aburime at the
Nigerian Justice Ministry. Aburime said that Nigeria had not
yet developed domestic legislation on chemical or biological
weapons. Aburime, who works on the Ministry Committee
charged with drafting the legislation to internalize the CWC
convention provision, agreed to share a draft of legislation
as soon as she has approval to do so. Embassy will forward
the Nigerian draft text to the Department when it is
received, and has forwarded the relevant U.S. Code to Aburime.
